Citywide Curbside Clean Up
Begins: 6/30/2025
Ends: 8/8/2025 - 12:00 pm
Citywide Curbside Cleanup
Saturday August 23, 2025
Items must be curbside by 6:00 AM on the day of the clean-up and the residence must have purchased a curbside pickup and/or extra fee items to participate in the clean-up. No late set items will be recovered and anything over two cubic yards will be left behind. No refunds.
- WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
Residents who live in the City limits of Trimont and have purchased a space of 2 yards from the City. No waste from non-residential customers, contractors, businesses or those residing outside the City limits will be accepted.
- ACCEPTABLE ITEMS AND PREPARATION GUIDELINES
General Non-Hazardous Household Waste “junk”
Furniture items (Loveseat, Chairs, Tables etc.)
Small amounts of Re-modeling materials (Siding, Dried out paint cans, Drywall, Carpet, etc.)
Limited to 2-yards of acceptable items per household – the size of the backend of a pickup box and a height of 3 foot.
All items should be boxed, bagged or contained in some manner and under 40 pounds or they will not be accepted. Anything over 6 foot x 6 foot x 3 foot high and/or not on city address pickup list, will be left behind. Nothing to be put out by the curb more than a week prior to the pickup date of August 23. If items are left outside, they must be covered to avoid rain & anything adding extra weight to items.
Absolutely NO loads of loose shingles or tires will be accepted!

Batteries (Includes: auto, flashlight, rechargeable, etc.)
Chemical Products (Includes: herbicides, pesticides, ag chemicals)
Fluorescent Tubes and Light Bulbs
Hazardous, Industrial, Infectious Waste
Liquid Waste, Paints, Thinners, Removers
Oils, Oil Rags (Includes: any type of oil drilling waste)
Radioactive Materials Naturally Occurring (NORM)
Tires
Bikes
Any motorized vehicle parts
Yard Waste (Includes: grass clippings, tree and shrub waste)
Electronics or Appliances
Concrete
Mattresses and box springs – extra Fees
Piano – Extra Fees
Workout equipment – Extra Fees
How to get signed up: Fill out the form provided with this letter. Next you can stop by city hall, mail it or drop it in our payment box along with your check. All forms & full payment are due by August 8th. Please select what item(s) and your curb stop pickup you would like to purchase. All curb stop pickups require a fee of $30. No Refunds. No late forms or payments will be accepted.
WASTE MANAGEMENT HAS THE RIGHT TO DETERMINE FINAL ACCEPTABILITY OF WASTE

Notice of Public Hearing
Notice is hereby given that the City of Trimont will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the Triumph Hall (546 Main St E, Trimont, MN).
The purpose of this Public Hearing is to discuss the updated infrastructure improvements being reviewed from USDA for funding, replacement of aged sewer and water lines and interim updates for the sewer plant.
All residents and property owners within the City of Trimont are encouraged to attend.
